Returns Policy
At Slate & Palm, each piece is thoughtfully curated and in many cases, crafted specifically for you. Please read the following carefully before placing an order. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you understand and agree to the terms below.
Important Notice on Custom & Made to Order Items
All custom, bespoke and made to order items are final sale.
These items are produced specifically for your order and cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded under any circumstances once confirmed.
This includes:

Custom dimensions or finishes

Made to order furniture and décor
-
Items produced following drawing, sample, or material approval
Inspection on Delivery
Please inspect your item immediately upon delivery.

Any issues must be reported on the same day of delivery

If immediate inspection is not possible, you must notify us in advance so an inspection window can be agreed

Do not discard original packaging until the item has been fully inspected and approved

Returns without original packaging may be declined
Returns (Non Custom Items Only)
Only eligible, non custom items may be considered for return.

Return requests must be submitted within 2 days of delivery

Once approved, collection will be arranged within 2–3 working days

Items must be unused, unassembled, undamaged, and in original packaging
Non Returnable Items
The following items are strictly non returnable:

Custom, bespoke, or made to order items

Clearance or sale items
-
Assembled furniture
-
Non faulty items requested outside the return window
- Gift cards
Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement only

Custom and made to order items cannot be cancelled once confirmed

Orders scheduled earlier than standard lead times are non refundable after confirmation
Refunds

Refunds are processed within 2–3 working days following return inspection approval

Card or instalment payments will be refunded to the original payment method
Allow 5–7 business days for funds to reflect -
Cash on Delivery or Point of Sale payments will be issued as store credit only
Damages & Quality Issues

Damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery

Clear photos or videos of the item and packaging are required
-
Verified manufacturing faults will be replaced or refunded at our discretion
-
Only one replacement will be offered for the same issue
-
Damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, or handling is not covered
Wall Mounted Items (Mirrors & Wall Décor)
For damage claims, the following must be submitted within 24 hours:

Photos or videos of the front and back of the item
-
Clear images of the wall, hook, and screw used for installation
Claims without full documentation will be void.

Slate & Palm is not responsible for:

Damage occurring after delivery due to handling or misuse

Accidental damage
-
Indirect or consequential losses beyond the product value
All claims must be supported by visual evidence. Final decisions regarding returns, refunds or replacements remain at the discretion of Slate & Palm.
