Return & Refund Policy – Slate & Palm

At Slate & Palm, we want you to feel confident in every piece you bring into your home. If something isn’t quite right, our return process is simple, thoughtful, and designed with the same care as our interiors.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.


Inspection on Delivery

  • Please inspect your item immediately upon delivery.

  • Report any issues on the same day of delivery.

  • If you cannot inspect right away, notify us in advance so we can define an inspection window.

  • Do not dispose of packaging until you confirm the item is in perfect condition.

  • Returns without original packaging may be declined.


Returns

  • Only eligible items in original condition and packaging can be returned.

  • Request a return within 2 days of delivery.

  • After approval, we’ll schedule pickup within 2–3 working days.

  • Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and unassembled.

  • Non-returnable items:

    • Custom or made-to-order items

    • Clearance items

    • Assembled furniture

    • Any non-faulty items outside of return window


Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement only.

  • Orders scheduled earlier than our standard lead times are non-refundable and non-cancellable after confirmation.


Refunds

  • Refunds are issued within 2–3 working days after return inspection.

  • Card or instalment payments: refunded to the original payment method (allow 5–7 business days to reflect).

  • Cash on Delivery (COD) or Point-of-Sale payments: refunded as store credit only.


Damages & Quality Issues

  • Damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Submit clear photos or videos showing the item and packaging.

  • Verified faults will be replaced or refunded.

  • Only one replacement will be offered for the same issue.

  • Damage from misuse, incorrect installation, or handling is not covered.


Wall-Mounted Items (Mirrors, Wall Décor)

If damage occurs, you must submit the following within 24 hours:

  • Photos/videos of front and back of item

  • Clear images of wall, hook, and screw used for hanging

  • Missing/incomplete documentation will void the claim


Disclaimer

We are not responsible for:

  • Damage after delivery due to handling or misuse

  • Accidental damage

  • Losses beyond the product value

All claims must be supported by visual proof. Final decision on returns and eligibility is at our discretion.
